School Uniform Requirement 1989 Citation[edit]

Probably not noteworthy, but here it is anyway: A Good Grade for Uniformity Style: Vaughn Street Elementary School becomes L.A.'s first to make regimental dressing an option. LATimes 2/2/90 http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/latimes/access/59966406.html?dids=59966406:59966406&FMT=ABS&FMTS=ABS:FT&type=current&date=Feb+2%2C+1990&author=GAILE+ROBINSON&pub=Los+Angeles+Times+(pre-1997+Fulltext)&edition=&startpage=4&desc=A+Good+Grade+for+Uniformity+Style%3A+Vaughn+Street+Elementary+School+becomes+L.A.%27s+first+to+make+regimental+dressing+an+option. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lionelt (talkcontribs) 06:19, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Norb Huber[edit]

Current article states N Huber was at So Bay Lutheran until 1998. However, Pacific Lutheran High School article states Huber started THAT school in 1997 orig. as a satellite of So Bay Lutheran. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lionelt (talkcontribs) 10:02, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Multi-grade classrooms[edit]

Note should be made of the founding of the school as a proverbial one room school. Sadly, the school would return to a similar situation upon its decline with multi-grade classrooms or combined grades. The bottom of this source has an interesting and well-referenced essay on the benefits of multi-grade classrooms http://www.rglc.org/site/dbpage.asp?page_id=140007625&sec_id=140006200#multi. It could itself be used as a starting point for a WP article on multi-grade classrooms, since it appears as an internal link but is dead. Coincidentally this is a Lutheran School. Decline and Closure[edit]

B King should be moved to this section; but what about Gagan? Lionelt (talk) 08:51, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lutheran Church Controversy[edit]

Circa 1973 (John Roberts vicarship) there was a controversy between liberals & conservatives. There should be commentary about this and an external link. Lionelt (talk) 01:32, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

a major crisis[edit]

The lack of specificity about the "major crisis" which led to the school shrinking in 1993-1994 makes me doubt the neutrality of this article. —Stepheng3 (talk) 21:19, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Where is all this information coming from?[edit]

Well . . . Where is all this information coming from? I see very few footnotes and citations. Seems as though this is a lot of WP:Original Research. Yours, GeorgeLouis (talk) 04:58, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

L.A. Times subscription[edit]

"Notable school has 8 sources, one of them LA Times. More sources in LA Times archives. Anyone have a subscription?" I am not sure what this Edit summary means. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 07:22, 22 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
