Government of the Czech Republic → Cabinet of the Czech Republic – We really need to differentiate between the Cabinet (the executive branch of government) and the Government (the system of governing, managing a country). The Czech language in its current state does a poor job of differentiating between these two. Czechs mostly use the word "vláda" for both. I like the way it is handled for German Cabinet and I propose we do it the same way for the Czech political system. Currently it is very confusing for non-Czech readers especially. We should also add redirections and redirection notices to make sure everybody gets to where they want when they type "Czech government" and similar. Martin J. Oppose Well meaning move, but I don't think it's consistent with most of the Category:Government by country. Also, the cabinet refers only to the highest level of the government, i.e. the cabinet ministers. The government article covers the entire executive branch, including the ministries and all civil servants employed by them. (t · c) buidhe 08:16, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. This seems to be a proposal to de-scope the article, reversing the previous merge. It could be proposed as a split, but the arguments above in terms of Czech language are irrelevant to the move proposal. Andrewa (talk) 05:57, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of the Czech Republic" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.
