Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Gow Langsford is a notable gallery that aims at promoting local and international artists and expand the art scene in New Zealand. Since the art scene is relatively small in New Zealand, this is important for galleries to spread knowledge and question the ways in which art on this island evolves.(your reason here) --203.109.204.65 (talk) 05:45, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

But any article on Wikipedia must meet the notability guidelines and I don't think it does. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 20:19, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Reviewing article for WP:GNG. NZ project discussion has suggested incorporating into a wider article on Auckland Art Galleries. See discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject New Zealand#Gow Langsford Gallery.
The changes to the article and referencing make it reasonable enough to stand on its own. Needs further work to tidy it up, but heading in the right direction. NealeFamily (talk) 19:59, 25 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Artists without articles[edit]

I have removed the following artists as they are currently redlinked. In the case they later have articles created for them, they will appear as blue links, and should be considered for re-addition to the article.
