Frank O. Barber versus Barber & McMurry Architects[edit]

I'm deleting on this page the reference to "Frank Barber of the firm Barber & McMurry," because the reference it cites refers to him as "Frank O. Barber, a partner in the firm Barber & McMurry." The reference is simply incorrect. Barber & McMurry was founded by Charles I. Barber and Ben McMurry. Charles was the son of architect George F. Barber. Frank Orison Barber, confoundingly (or at least confoundingly to the author of the reference), was not actual even related to the other Barber family, although he did work as a draftsman for Barber & McMurry for a couple years in the 1920s. In any case, the National Park Service information for Green McAdoo School mentions "Frank O. Barber," but not "Barber & McMurry," so I'm concluding that that's the part of the confusion that is correct. The 1935 Knoxville City Directory (the year of the school's completion) clearly lists under "Architects" in the category pages at the end, "Frank O. Barber" and "Barber & McMurry" as separate firms.
