Flag was not removed because "flying another country's flag next to the U.S. flag is not allowed in HISD schools since it shows loyalty to another country". This is a blantent spin of the facts.

It is against the LAW to fly any flag, pennant, etc. above the United States of America flag. Please get your facts straight. I think there should be more discussion about the History of the School, not about change in racial groups that are attending there.

By focusing on the change of racial groups and by stating that they the majority qualify for reduced lunch does not reflect the schools existence or historical background.

All inner city schools were predominantly white 30-20 yrs. plus, not just Regan. And of course there was a influx of minority students in inner city schools as the latino population increased. Again, nothing out of the ordinary from any other inner city school.
