"Two Guys" picture[edit]

I removed the picture of "a typical help desk," as it added nothing to the article and didn't seem to be anything other than somebody posting a picture of themselves on WP for fun. If others feel that it was of worth, go ahead and make your case. Deadsalmon 02:24, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling and capitalization...[edit]

I came here trying to find out if "help desk" should be capitalized as "Help Desk" or not.

Instead I found the article "Help desk" starts with "A helpdesk is" and ends with talk about a "HelpDesk."

Ug. --Skintigh (talk) 18:34, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I researched it, and "helpdesk" seems to be slang or a misspelling of "help desk." Googling "define: helpdesk" shows definitions of "help desk" and dictionary.com's definition redirects to "help desk." Mariam Webster doesn't even have an entry "helpdesk." Then there is this http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/helpdesk Therefore I am fixing this article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Skintigh (talkcontribs) 21:04, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like this doesn't belong here

Its part of Wikipedia why don't you plz just write an article or email someone that is whats best to do instead of giving some one a really random question...--Kayla4858 (talk) 20:44, 5 October 2011 (UTC)Kayla4858http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kayla4858[reply]

Help Desk Companies Guidelines[edit]

ManageEngine done a well marketing by putting themselves at the top of internal links. In my though that's a perfect violation of what could be a respectfull edit of wikipedia and a terrific marketing. There is a page for people to announce their products. I can't delete competitor's ManageEngine link.

How do you post an Article?[edit]

I am quite new to Wikipedia and in need of some assistance.--Kayla4858 (talk) 20:38, 5 October 2011 (UTC)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kayla4858[reply]

Kayla4858, please have a look to the answer and links I posted on your talkpage. This is NOT an Help Desk for problems editing Wikipedia.--Dia^ (talk) 21:02, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting insertion of speculation.[edit]

I am reverting User:Michael8678's insertion again. It is oddly phrased as speculation, though it may be intended as instruction, contrary to WP:NOTMANUAL. Michael also appears to be trying to construct a reference to two editions of a self-published book in breach of WP:RS, but is linking to the Amazon listings for the book in breach of WP:SPAM. The promotional text on those Amazon pages suffers phraseological difficulties quite similar to Michael's insertion so I have to ask; Michael18678, have you read and understood WP:COI? NebY (talk) 19:29, 16 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately I have messed up the References when adding a reflist. Can someone please repair my mistake? Thank you! Khnassmacher (talk) 10:08, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
