Fanboi-ish[edit]

Some of the text comes across as a bit fawning in the Apple blurbs. I'll take a stab at toning some of it down as i get a chance. Ken (talk) 19:41, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

CPQ Concerto[edit]

Still no mention of the Compaq Concerto (1993) tablet/slate/convertible PC..... I'll give a few days for comments then I'll add somecopy. Ken (talk) 19:58, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Half of what was mentioned about Apple's iPad can easily be summed up in "post-PC tablet computers" section with the rest saved for it's own history page, or alongside the iPhone's. --Zc456 (talk) 01:12, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

More emphasis could be made on the Windows CE devices eg, CE 1.0 started earlier, in 1996 The HP Jornada 300LX is not mentioned, even though it is much older than the 820 The concept of the touch screen, the tablet-like operating system, and the capability of network communication make these devices as valid pre-cursors to the modern tablet.

Is there a reason that the iPhone itself is not on this list, while the iPod Touch and iPad are? 208.176.205.99 (talk) 02:21, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
