Previous references[edit]

I eliminated most of the previous article because I understood the reference sources to have strict copyright policies. In the case it was my error, I modified the tone and the syntax of the sentences so that they can be reintroduced in a hopefully better way, at least.

It may therefore look something like this:

Homi Mullan was an Indian percussionist and composer mostly known for his career within the Bollywood music industry.

He worked for music directors such as R. D. Burman, S. D. Burman, Madan Mohan and Naushad.

Musical career

Mullan was introduced into the music industry by the music director Pankaj Mullick, in Kolkata, where he began his career as a percussionist for Bengali film soundtracks. Later collaborations saw him working with the musicians Sailesh Dasgupta, Shyamal Mitra and Nachiketa Ghoshmany. He met Rahul Dev Burman in Bollywood and played in his orchestras. He then became a member of the Burman Music Sitting Team. He retired after the death of R. D. Burman.
