I believe there is another HVRHS alumnus, besides Steve Blass, to play professional sports. In fact, John Lamb pitched on the same Pittsburgh Pirates teams as Blass, from 1970 to 1973. Lamb is listed in www.baseballlibrary.com although there is almost no background information about him.
