For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. signed, Rosguill talk 01:09, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Combine[edit]

With IEC 60204, often a reference to IEC 60204-1 (Part 1) is implicit. However, it has more parts than just the one. 11, 31, 32, 33, 34 are often used as well. Currently, this is not visible on the 60204 page. Can we make an umbrella out of the existing page and list all parts on it? Should the parts become too large we'd have to create new pages for them, but I don't see this happening any time soon.--185.2.196.124 (talk) 16:09, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Relationship to NFPA 79[edit]

The article should discuss the differences between EN 60204 and NFPA 79, and how this affects international trade in machinery. 128.30.10.65 (talk) 23:42, 24 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
