Untitled[edit]

"The shaking often has healing powers" changed to "The shaking is reported to have healing powers" as to not make a statement of judgement on the topic, as the information to make one is not available.

Searching[edit]

Because there is another more famous religion of the same name, this can be a tough one to conduct web searches for. I found some materials by starting with the search "Shaker + Salish". -- Jmabel | Talk 19:26, August 21, 2005 (UTC)

Opposition[edit]

Wasn't there also some opposition to the Indian Shakers from other non-Shakers in the community? I know that the Klallam have both Shakers and non-Shakers and public prayer is shared between religious groups, and that the Shakers are now accepted as part of the heritage and tradition, but that that wasn't always the case.
