XVCPI support in Interactive Unix

Does someone have any information (announcements, documentation, or other bits) in regard to XVCPI (Extended Virtual Control Program Interface) support in Interactive Unix since ca. 1989? This was apparently a parallel effort to DPMI to enable the full memory management and multitasking capabilities of the 386 in which Intel, Digital Research, Interactive Systems and other parties seem to have played a role. Very little is known about this, so if you know anything about it, your comments or contributions to the VCPI article or talk page would be highly welcome. Proposed merge with Interactive Unix

• Well, neither PC/IX nor Interactive Unix (386/ix) have wp:notability problems. There are sufficient sources for the latter too. Just in Infoworld (which has a deal with Google that gives full free access to old issues in GB) one can find [1] [2] and more minor articles discussing bundling: [3] [4] [5] [6]. There's surely more in other old publications. But since ISC mostly made Unix products it's probably a good idea to put the present info on single page rather than in 2-3 stubs. If this page gets too long WP:SPINOFFs can be considered, but we're pretty far from WP:SIZE issues at the moment. Someone not using his real name (talk) 16:45, 15 February 2014 (UTC)

Lotus 1-2-3

That info seem a little dubious because the first unix version of 1-2-3 ran on SCO (i.e. on the main competition's product) with the 386/ix version coming later per [9]. Someone not using his real name (talk) 17:01, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

I agree with the {{cn}} but note that, according to the article, "former ISC staff founded Segue Software which partnered with Lotus Development to develop the Unix version of Lotus 1-2-3" (emphasis added) — it wasn't ISC itself. QVVERTYVS (hm?) 10:57, 19 February 2014 (UTC)
