Vandalism[edit]

There's been a decent amount of vandalism on this page within the last 24 hours an example is this edit, surely we could get an admin to protect this page? (Semi confirmed). BlitzShock (talk) 17:56, 29 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looking over it now. I'm also going to flag this for other issues, as it has several. - CorbieVreccan 22:54, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I looked at the raceshifters documentation. If she's a documented descendant of a particular community, she can be listed as such; unless there's some reason the Nation in question doesn't want that. But that is different from listing someone as simply Cree, Dene, or First Nations. - CorbieVreccan 23:24, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Claims of Native or Métis identity[edit]

Must be cited. Instead of revert-warring, if the claim can't be sourced, it should be removed rather than listed as fact. - CorbieVreccan 21:07, 23 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

iskwē (Meghan Meisters) is a documented and registered citizen of the Manitoba Métis Federation and is identified as Cree Métis.
This has been cited in many verifiable sources.
Raceshifters is NOT a verifiable source and has since been removed from google due to hate speech.
Here are two source examples citing Cree Métis:

Noting a Medium article that rebuts some accusations that she misrepresents herself. There may be enough sourcing to mention the question in the article, as it seems to be somewhat controversial, or at least was so for a while. (OTOH if it was mostly confined to the Twitterverse, probably better not to.)—Odysseus1479 23:26, 7 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
