Untitled[edit]

I just stumbled upon this page and was dumbstruck by the following sentence:

"While the works of Allen and Armstrong are by no means identical, with Allen's work being much earlier, much longer and in hard back book format..."

Now, I don't know anything about either of these people, but if the main differences are the date, length and the way their writings are bound, those aren't differences that mean anything. How do their ideas differ?

Rewrite needed[edit]

The lede is the only part of this article that is actually about J.H. Allen. The content is entirely about Judah's Sceptre and Joseph's Birthright. It needs some serious editing. Being a major influence on British Israelism, surely there exists more information than simply a book review. Butlerblog (talk) 01:14, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the section about influencing Herbert W. Armstrong. It was very weakly sourced, and seemed to be more of a criticism of Armstrong (plagiarism), and as such, that information really is more suited to the page on Armstrong, not Allen. Maybe we can bring back something about influencing Armstrong, but it really needs to be within the scope of how Allen had influence on British Israelism and Christian Identity.
