Child Actor[edit]

Is there any background available on Dixon's acting credentials? He is a member of the Actors Guild and apparently did commercials and TV shows as a child. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.61.26.69 (talk) 00:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

I believe he was also in the movie Glengrary, Glen Ross-not confirmed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruckno (talkcontribs) 17:36, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are only about 6 people in the movie Glengary Glenn Ross. I just watched and did not notice him. It'd be hard to miss in that movie, with such a small cast Infamousjre (talk) 01:54, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Career Wins[edit]

Not only is Jamie Dixon #2 in wins in 4 years, he is #2 in wins in 6 years. He is 1 behind Everett Case who won 161 in his first 6 years at N.C. State back in 1946-1952. I'm not sure of the best way to phrase that along with the 4 years without making it sound clunky. Wiszard (talk) 04:28, 13 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think he has more wins than Jim Boeheim or Jim Calhoun, who are still active coaches in the Big East. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.242.1.50 (talk) 18:32, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He doesn't have more total wins, but he has a better winning percentage both nationally and in the Big East. He also has the NCAA record for most wins in the first 6 years as a head coach, which was broken with the tourney win over Oaklahoma State. CrazyPaco (talk) 18:52, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating[edit]

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 08:13, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Middle Name[edit]

Where did his middle name come from? Unless anyone can find something, I say it should be removed. Infamousjre (talk) 01:54, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is false. A director search at at Pitt confirms that his actual full name is James P. Dixon II which makes sense because his father goes by Jim. CrazyPaco (talk) 19:09, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User Photo[edit]

I believe the picture at the bottom of Dixon's Wikipedia page should be deleted or replaced. The angle from which the picture was taken is too steep and thus poor quality. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.235.209.41 (talk) 03:01, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are no available replacements currently. It is fine and should stay until someone uploads better free photos of Dixon to Wikimedia Commons. CrazyPaco (talk) 17:50, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I uploaded a better photo for use in the info box. I'll also upload one suitable for another section shortly. IMO the one in the Big East section should be removed, or possibly fixed, I don't think it looks very good.--S Philbrick(Talk) 20:55, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
