• "Both parents" - tweak to "Both of his parents" Done
• "His father Fritz was a clerk in a factory" - tweak to "His father Fritz was a factory clerk" Done
• "his mother Katharina (née Odenhausen)" - shouldn't "née" be written in italics? Done
• "and Maria (1910–1949); the last married the German filmmaker Max W. Kimmich in 1938" - tweak to "and Maria (1910–1949), who married the German filmmaker Max W. Kimmich in 1938" Done
• "Goebbels suffered from ill health during his childhood" - curb "his" Done
• "He had a deformed right foot (clubfoot) which turned inwards" - remove brackets and link clubfoot in deformed right foot bit Done

• "His parents initially hoped that he would become a Catholic priest" - does Manvell & Fraenkel 2010 mention whether Goebbels had any interest in this or what his thoughts about becomming a preist was? If so, seems worth adding  Done
• "Perhaps in compensation for his physical disabilities" - this sentence strikes me as very much Wikipedia:VAGUE  Fixed

I see it was published by the NSDAP in 1929, but surely he must written it before that. Right? If not, it seems strange to add a 1929 event in the "Early life" section.  Fixed
• "At the University of Heidelberg, he wrote his doctoral thesis on Wilhelm von Schütz" - again, I strongly recommend using "Goebbels" when it's a new paragraph  Done
• "and indicated a growing anti-Semitism" - curb the "a" bit  Done

• "with the slogan "the Führer over Germany" - I believe the slogan was "Hitler over Germany"  Not done Both Thacker (p.127) and Kershaw (p.227) say "the Führer over Germany".

• "and crucifixes were removed from state buildings" - like Bormann's article, mention Hitler later reversed this policy in a note and use the same source (Rees & Kershaw 2012)  Done
• "Still Goebbels was well aware" - add comma after "Still"  Done
• "for troops on the eastern front" - "eastern front" should be capitalized and linked
• "In actuality the defence of areas" - add comma before "actuality"  Done I think you meant "after" :)
• "Göring's Luftwaffe attempted to retaliate" - no need to italicize "Luftwaffe" per WP:COMMON  Done

  • I have completed the tasks except for adding the Golden Party Badge, as it's not mentioned in any of the books I have here. Perhaps Kierzek has a source? -- Diannaa (talk) 22:06, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
    • I don't know for a fact he received the Golden Party Badge; I just saw his article was in the recipients category so I assumed so. Jonas Vinther • (speak to me!) 23:46, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
      • I don't recall reading it specifically but will double-check when I get home. Clearly he did receive it as he is shown wearing it in the photo we have up in the section: "Propagandist in Berlin", giving a speech in Berlin (1934). Kierzek (talk) 13:22, 19 June 2015 (UTC)
