montereygo's comment[edit]

It's now May of 2009 and this "article" was posted in December 2008. The thing isn't really an article, after all; it's a hit-piece. Why is it still up?

Mugamalanga's comment[edit]

Maybe the references to Chris Paul Neil were a bit much. We in Korea though are recieving a lot of flack, and are having a hard time getting work permits because of added visa requirements. The powers that be are blaming the fact that Christopher Paul Neil was a teacher at Gwangju Foreign school for the addiional requirements for the visa.

This is an ongoing issue, and a thorn in a lot of peoples sides. The general public in Korea, and the expats are allways wanting to know the circumstances behind his last place of employment. I thus think there should be some mention about him in Wikipedias "Gwangju Foreign School" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugamalanga (talkcontribs) 17:57, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

ESL program[edit]

Interesting that the school has an ESL programe. Would have thought that students who had learned English in an English speaking country for 5 years would not need an ESL programe.

Strange that there is no direct link on the Christopher Paul Neil page to the Gwangju Foreign School. There is a link to the school he worked at in Thailand. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.67.1.60 (talk) 15:06, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Someone vandalised the page. Would appreciate it if the moderators could put the original back up. We in Korea are following proceedings at that school very carefully. A lot of what was stated in the original page is true. All of it is in fact. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.97.18.43 (talk) 17:08, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

We would like the original page restored in its entirety. The school is not honest with the way it portrays itself, so we are pleased that wikipedia was able to give an honest appraisal of the schools existing conditions. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.97.18.43 (talk) 17:19, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Everyone in the korean ESL industry equates Christopher Paul Neil with Gwangju Foreign school —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.112.198.21 (talk) 05:16, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anyway life goes on. you guys live and die on the net. not the real life anyway. Now the reference to CPN on the Gwangju Foreign school site was not out of place. Geeze. Hell the dood is pretty much responsible for the health checks, aids checks, for prospective English teachers and the extra requirements for the E7 visa etc., etc. All of it documented stuff I put on the site you guys deleted, and Gwangju F school was the last place he worked at before he was apprehended.

Every expat in Korea associates the school with the guy. it aint ever going to go away. That'school is stuck forever with the notoriety. Just like certain schools are associated with the notoriety of having their expats as korean serial killers.

Now i sense some other hidden agenda with your pissed offness with regards to CPN. Can't put my finger on it, but there is something there. Are you Korean, and find it reprehensible that he was ever in Korea? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.113.162.132 (talk) 23:09, 23 April 2009 (UTC) Real world too much for you. Maybe you just can't take it that something like this is in your internet frame of reference. Get help.[reply]

My suggestion to you is very simple: Write the articles with reliable sources. Do not add blog sources, your personal feeling, analysis, agendas.--Caspian blue 23:19, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
