"Partnerships that are registered in Tasmania are not automatically recognised in most parts of Australia when travelling or moving interstate."

I am not sure about this, and have removed it. I think it can be added back once we are sure that this is the case. Some states have regulations that recognise registered relationships from other states, and the majority of jurisdictions now have registered partnerships or civil unions.

Is this outdated? In fact, there seems to be a contradictory statement saying that NSW, QLD, ACT and VIC recognise such relationships since 2012. SA, WA and NT are not 'most of Australia' by population size or by the number of jurisdictions.
