Expansion[edit]

Certain sections in this article are underdeveloped and information on the film's production is missing. As such these issues need to be fixed and the article expanded.--Paleface Jack (talk) 15:58, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you can do that yourself. Adding redundant cleanup tags isn't going to improve the article any. It's already been tagged as start class, so saying that it's incomplete or missing information really doesn't help any. Every start class article on Wikipedia is missing information – that's why they're not Good Articles. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:51, 13 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm inclined to agree with NinaRobotPirate. Someone seems to have put this article through the ringer of tags without a lot of information detailing the specifics. We can't really say the article is missing something without first presuming that something additional exists. There are only so many details about this film available and I don't see anything major missing. As such, I've gone through and cleaned up some of the tags. If there are specific concerns still not addressed, we should discuss them. Otherwise, I think large areas of the article are about as improved as they can be for now. Expansion Part 2[edit]

Hello again everyone. Just wanted to reiterate from the previous section I've posted on this articles talk page about it needing expansion. Recently, the upcoming prequel for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise titled Leatherface has reported that it is a follow-up/prequel of both the original film and this one as well. The writer has also reiterated that they wanted to recreate the atmosphere from this film for the prequel. This should be added to the article in a sequels section. Also, I have been expanding the article on the character Leatherface and I have added information that pertains to this film which will need to be added to the article. I will place the link to this article at the bottom of this post, since it's all in a userspace (I am sort of taking a break from working on that particular article because of how massive the scope of it is and the lack of current collaborators). Hopefully this article can be expanded to its fullest extent since it can easily be GA and/or FA status if enough attention is paid to it. Here's the link for the userspace for my revision of the Leatherface article, take care: User:Paleface Jack/Leatherface (Revision)
