Post-1999 Incidents[edit]

Only a few?[edit]

"Traditional" books on the Bermuda Triangle, like those of C. Berlitz, use to list more than a hundred incidents. This list appears to have been reduced beyond the referenceable point... --Againme (talk) 19:44, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agreed. Christopher Columbus was said to have seen strange lights in the Bermuda Triangle when he was sailing out to discover America in the 15th century. And there are ancient references to the Bermuda Triangle too. Limiting it to such a small list, and ignoring famous ones like the Mary Celeste and the disappearance of Amelia Earhart is not just negligent, it reeks of a cover up. 203.4.164.1 (talk) 02:20, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keith says it's utter nonsense. Columbus saw a bright meteor on the westbound passage in 1492, but that's not terribly unusual.Keithpickering (talk) 19:03, 16 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 10,1945 Disappearance of US Navy PBM3S Patrol Seaplane[edit]

I have been looking around a lot for information on this topic but not much ever pops up. All I know is that the plane disappeared from radar at 22-25 degrees north and 77.34 degrees west. In those coordinates you get Nassau, Bahamas, and the ocean right outside of Cuba.But those areas were searched for ten days after the flight went missing and no wreckage was to be found. Is it possible to think that Thomas Arthur Garner crash landed in the ocean, and survived? Unable to make it back home? I'm honestly looking for more answers, more information on this one particular missing flight. There's more to what is written online, I can feel that in my gut, but what isn't being said about this? I am about to trim unreferenced material from this list[edit]

WP:CITE states the following -- "Wikipedia's verifiability policy requires inline citations for any material challenged or likely to be challenged....". It is seven months since the unreferenced template was posted, and little has been done to fix the problem. In line with this I am about to trim this list to comply.
