Renumbering Presidents vs. Head of State[edit]

Note, the ref just added, is the major English language reference, listing "Presidents of Niger" Kountche is there. He had a Presidential Guard. He was President of Niger. The Website of the Presidency of Niger lists him as such. Please don't re-number the presidents of Niger based of assumption. Thank you. 05:19, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

Majority have held the title president. When it comes to lists of African leaders, its almost never the case that all officeholders in a list have held the same title. Oppose. By nom's own admission, the proposed title would be inaccurate. The current title covers presidents and others, and the existing redirect caters for those looking for them under the title President whether accurate or not.
