What makes a puppet a main character?[edit]
From the list's lead section:
- Puppet films feature puppets as lead characters.
A Twitter user asked me whether Gremlins and Child's Play count. The inclusion of The Dark Crystal leads me to believe the criterion is live-action films produced using animatronics or other puppetry, not films where a character is seen in-universe as a puppet. The inclusion of Follow That Bird and Labyrinth leads me to believe it need not include an all-puppet cast, just puppets in several leading/supporting roles. Child's Play and Pinocchio (1996) might be on the line because of only one puppet. Where shall we draw the line? Damian Yerrick (talk) 13:22, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
