Not Included?[edit]

Apparently only studio photographs count- the inaugural photos, Gettysburg, and the casket photo all are not just skipped, they are not even MENTIONED. CFLeon (talk) 19:20, 13 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This list is incomplete, as stated in the beginning of the page. Please help by expanding it! Scewing (talk) 18:45, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Date Of One Image[edit]

I've been doing some research on the image of Lincoln I added to the table for January 1861. It seems this article: http://illinoistimes.com/article-18667-lincoln%E2%80%99s-photographer-was-unlucky-in-love.html states that the date is January 13th, 1861. It sounds authentic, considering the circumstances. HaarFager (talk) 12:40, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The photograph dated 4-6-1861 and the two dated 5-16-1861 were obviously taken at the same time. Note the lay of strands of Lincoln's hair over his ear; note the stray strand of hair in the forefront of his hair part. Sir Rhosis (talk) 12:29, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Possible obscure photographs found[edit]

I just found photographs that could be Lincoln on twitter (for lack of a better source I will link those posts)

https://twitter.com/BeschlossDC/status/1360442120310505479 (This credits Mathew Brady)

https://twitter.com/Mr_Lincoln/status/1386751699738636293 (This credits Alexander Gardner)

Could these be actual photographs of Lincoln, I have never seen them before and it would be astounding that these photographs, if real, have remained obscure for so long. There is a resemblance but I am uncertain, if they are authenticated somehow it would be good to add them here

Here is also an reliable, I would guess, source as it seems to be a print from some type of old book, specifically mentions the date April 26, 1864

Now I'll link the images themselves for maybe better resolution
