Untitled[edit]

Need help to create the page neatly. thevikas (talk) 16:32, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is this page really necessary? Howl01 (talk) 22:10, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spiting the article.[edit]

The article needs split and need to be made like List of schools in the United States, help me in doing so. Mahesh Kumar Yadav (talk) 11:04, 10 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pruning this list[edit]

I would like to reduce this article to bluelinks only, and perhaps a few referenced entries. This is not a directory, and there are many ma and pa schools with 8 students listed here. Objections? Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:26, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Overhaul[edit]

This article needs to be overhauled, but I think a system like List of universities in India would suit it better than List of institutions of higher education in India, since if we follow the latter, there are going to be many articles made out of this one. But, the problem then would be maintaining Notability in all of them; however, if the former is followed, notability guidelines will be easier to follow, inclusion criteria easier to decide.

Since all schools aren't notable, I propose the following inclusion criteria:

  1. The school must offer classes till 12th(relaxable to 10th if criteria 2 is met)
  2. We list only those with third-party verifiable sources

Page doesn't meet quality standards[edit]

Hello,

This page doesn't meet quality standards of Wikipedia. It is not nicely arranged and is untidy. Please try to add tables in all the sections one by one, splitting by columns, or any other possible thing. Just make symmetry. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards

@Kashisharora11: It looks good to me now. I am inclined to remove the "Page doesn't meet quality standards" box. Any objections? Gog the Mild (talk) 15:52, 31 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Break it to state level pages[edit]

This page is showing very limited amount of information, as i am sure there would b many more schools in India than listed here. We might want to split the page into Statewise list of schools, and than on each page, we have city-wise listing of schools. This way, we can have the information organized in better way, and have proper hierarchy for navigation Template:School education in India

I volunteer myself to start with the page for List of schools in Rajasthan. Vishal0soni (talk) 04:43, 25 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I need to edit an article on Wikipedia[edit]

It's a minor yet important edit. I want to add the name of a school in the list of schools in India. That's all RashiKumarOfficial (talk) 10:26, 16 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Go ahead and do it then. Ajf773 (talk) 23:33, 17 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • ONLY add a school if it already has an article on the English Wikipedia.
The last school you added was Lady K.C. Roy Memorial School, Ranchi which does not have an article, so was deleted. If you are wanting to add the same school, or any other school without an article, that will be deleted. - Arjayay (talk) 09:28, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
