Fix[edit]

Hello fellow Wiki users. I've added a couple of entries to the "Songs that use the 50's chord progression" page(on April 19th). Unfortunately, I'm new at this so now my entries are in some funny places on the page. You'll see it if you look there. The list is just a bit askew. Can anyone help me to fix it? I'd like to keep the information up which I feel is a useful addition, but don't know how to fix it so it looks best. Thank You. Acceptable progressions on this page[edit]

I just removed some songs that had a listed progression of (IV–I–vi–V) [4-1-6-5]. That is not the standard '50s progression' of [1-6-4-5], nor is it one of the variations described [1–6–2–5], nor is it a shifted version of the progression which is [4-5-1-6]. Is this correct, or am I missing something?

It would seem to me that based on the article's own description that the only acceptable chord progressions on this page are the [1-6-4-5], the [1-6-2-5] and the [4-5-1-6]. Do you all concur?

Further Unacceptable Suggestions?[edit]

You Don't Own Me by Leslie Gore begins with two minor chords and can't be squeezed into a IV–I–vi–V progression however I look at it. So, as brilliant as it is, I propose it be sent elsewhere.
