Why this article[edit]

The history of the Manor Road site does not fit easily or clearly in the Droylsden Academy article nor would it fit in the articles for the two other schools that have occupied the site should they ever be written. This seems a better way than a redirect to deal with a very reasonable search term that is in itself notable per a Google search. -Arb. (talk) 17:49, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree I think its not needed at all. The Droylesden Academy article adequately explains the naming origins of the school, and a redirect will help the reader navigate to the information. This is pretty common for most UK schools articles with previous names apart from very few that have very well sourced separate articles for the different schools in history.
