Hi Editors and thanks for your help and hard work. One of my Puppet Tv Graffiti Pictures 'File:Nottingham TV G Thumb.JPG.' has been deleted from my page needing copyright information though I don't remember uploading it frankly. Still it would be nice to have it on my page and representative of me as a Nottingham Artist. I'm on a learning curve here but I created this image. Could someone put it back for me? I took the Photo and had it enlarged, mounted it and then 'Puppetised it'. Added my Puppet Making Materials in Graffiti style. I own the copyright. • Both of Marcus Clarke's credits for Muppet Christmas Carol and Muppets Treasure Island should be 'Additional Muppet Performer (voice)' and need correcting.

As I am both Puppeteering Muppet Characters and voicing them. Rather than just voicing them as the credit now stands states. 1/ ref http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104940/fullcredits 2/ ref http://www.imdb.com/find?s=all&q=muppet+treasure+island+full+credits Marcus clarke (talk) 20:46, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed. I have to say, there's a terrible bias on wikipedia to what's visible on screen (so puppets are more likely to get an article than puppeteers, or than producers for that matter). But I suppose that reflects what society at large finds interesting. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 22:04, 1 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please only use one {{Request edit}} template? Placing it everywhere doesn't help people who want to do it for you. Collate everything you want done into one coherent body of text so we can do it with minimum headaches. Thanks.--ObsidinSoul 13:50, 5 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I'm learning here and thought that was the way so thanks for putting me right. I'll try to order them under one request, thanks. A lot of formatting needs to go on in the article now, but I think everything in there is adequately sourced -- no reliance on the user's own website, youtube videos, etc. There is strong reliance on the Spotlight Directory, though, which I'm not very happy about. If you'd like any further help, contact me on my user talk page or put a {{help me}} template up on your own user talk page and someone will be along to help you. :) Banaticus (talk) 11:43, 19 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

{{help me}}

Banaticus, the Milkshake Shows are different Seasons or Series. 2007/2008. 2008's for example was BAFTA nominated. Though similarly titled. This is true of The Christmas Milkshake Show and A Christmas Milkshake too. Doesn't bother you when your Making the Programmes because you know what year it is. I'll add YouTube Site as that and see what comes down on me. Marcus clarke (talk) 12:41, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Banaticus, I love the grid for m Puppeteering credits. So much in fact I've sorted out my Puppet Making credits and wonderd if you would add a grid for them? see below.

Sorry if it wasn't clear. My listing doesn't currently reflect the fact that I am also a world class Puppet Maker. Known for my 20 years plus of Puppet Making for Television work with my partnership Company, Hands Up Puppets. The above are my Puppet Making credits. I cannot add them myself due to a claimed 'conflict of interest'. I need somebody to list them for me ideally in grid form. Would please somebody? The credits I've repeated below for clarity. • I do appreciate your asking for help, rather than editing directly with a conflict of interest. Having said that, I do not see that a long and tedious list of credits is necessary in an encyclopaedia article. It is difficult to see what purpose it would serve other than promotion, and your comments (eg "reflect the fact that I am also a world class Puppet Maker") suggest that that may indeed be the purpose. However, whatever may be the intended purpose, I don't see that such a list would serve any useful function in the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:58, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notability[edit]

If Marcus Clarke is is "best" known as the puppeteer and voice actor behind the BAFTA-winning ITV Kids series Bookaboo. Why is he not mentioned in that article? TeapotgeorgeTalk 19:14, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK I found him tucked away in the article.TeapotgeorgeTalk 20:25, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article re-write[edit]

Hey folks. Have rejigged the article and added some sections. Would appreciate someone else reading over it and checking it's neutrality is ok, since the subject is a member or Wikipedia. WormTT 20:35, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi worm that's super and I particularly like the recent work catogory addition. I've made a few minor detail corrections. For example 'Clayfields House' Young people are not all offenders as some are there for their own protection and it was the Children who won the awards for their contribution to my Film. Thanks I really like it. Marcus clarke (talk) 21:07, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake, I must have extrapolated based on one of the sources. I'm glad you're happy with it. I've put in a request for independent feedback to check it meets Wikipedia standards. I've written quite a few articles in the past, but this is my first attempt at a "BLP" (Biography of Living People), where we need to tread carefully. WormTT 21:09, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
it reads well to me but then.... thank you so much. Just one other thing. We didn't have Fern Cotton on Bookaboo but have had Myleene Klass and Emilia Fox. Marcus clarke (talk) 21:15, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Really? The article I read said Fern was on it! Ok, I'll swap to Myleene Klass :) WormTT 21:17, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Got the wrong Fern. Was Fern Britton, not Cotton. I've swapped for David Seaman since Myleene wasn't in the article, I assume he was on it? WormTT 21:20, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, as to images, it'd look good if we could get a picture of you, and one of Bookaboo. I'd suggest you pop along to [1] with the best picture of each that you hold the copyright to and are willing to release, then click "upload file". There's an option for "It is entirely my own work" - follow the instructions and let me know when you're done. There's no rush on that, but I do think it will improve the article. WormTT 21:24, 24 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added some pictures to Wiki Commons all part titled Marcus Clarke Puppeteer for your use. my 'Notabilty' as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Artists and Bafta member is no longer listed. Is there a place for it? Marcus clarke (talk) 13:31, 26 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've added one of the pictures as I felt it added to the article, though I couldn't see how the others really fit in. As for your fellowship of the Royal Society of Artists and BAFTA membership, they're not really encyclopedic information - not something that is often mentioned. It's true of any society / letters after your name, very useful in modern life or on a CV, but not something that should go into Wikipedia unless you have done specifically notable work for the society. So if you were leading a BAFTA campaign or something similar. WormTT 09:52, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
thanks Work for your editing work and clear advice. It's apreciate and i like the Article now. 86.133.189.169 (talk) 18:15, 6 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Birth year[edit]

The article said (without any sourcing) that he was born in 1967. I removed this factoid, because it's clearly incompatible with what's written in this web page. -- Hoary (talk) 01:53, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
