On the proposed deletion of the article[edit]

This article was done by an editor in good faith in 2006. The administration of Marian University apparently has asked for this article's deletion. This should not be granted. This is a form of censorship by some people who for some reason want this article deleted and have people go to their university's website. Therefore, I object to the deletion on these grounds. This Page Does Not Meet Criteria for Deletion[edit]

The Marian University page should not be deleted. It does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for deletion. Information that is "outdated" is not a reason to delete this page.

If, as the "Administration" of Marian University contends, information on the page is outdated, then he/she/they ought to update the information themselves. Furthermore, the page provides valuable links to outside athletic and historical organizations. The link at the bottom of the page provides a way for readers to go to Marian University's main page.

This page was created in 2006, which gives the Administration 5 years to learn of its existence.
