Note on sources[edit]

Davis Berdecio is a minor figure in the Venona decrypts. The information on her comes from the two Klehr and Haynes books, where she is identified as Marion Davis. She is also discussed in Nigel West's Venona (London: Harper Collins, 1999). West identifies her as Marion Davis Berdecio. The information in article on her dates, the claim that Wovschin was her classmate at Barnard College, the tag that identifies her as an alumni of Columbia University are all unsourced, and I have not been able to find anything to support these.
