Vandalism by danobindy[edit]

A review of the history of this article will show frequent edits/vandalism by a poster going by the username of "danobindy." danobindy has admitted to being Dan O'Brien, co-author of Mark May's memoirs. He is the reason the "Criminal history" section is continually removed and replaced. Picture[edit]

"Charges" section[edit]

I've removed the "charges" section per WP:UNDUE. As it stood, the article gave as much weight to those criminal charges as to his entire football career; since May is still alive, the higher threshhold for neutrality applies. - Jredmond (talk) 18:51, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Also, did these charges actually result in any type of fine or other penalty? Or did they result in some sort of professional discipline? (I'm thinking of something along the lines of a suspension, such as recently occurred with Charles Barkley. If so, a stronger case may be made for inclusion if the article were expanded. The neutrality of this article is a joke. Whoever continues to delete any mention of May's criminal record is obsessively introducing POV bias by removing anything they consider unfavorable to May. I now see that the user Danobindy, who has repeatedly vandalized the article to remove news sources regarding Mark May's criminal history, is in fact Dan O'Brien the co-author of May's NFL memoir. No wonder that someone who is paid to polish May's professional reputation would take so much time to scrub this entry. Just be warned, Mr. O'Brien, the facts are out there and will be included in this article no matter how many times you vandalize it in an attempt to force your own POV. This is not a news article or editorial, so your complaints about "balanced coverage" are misguided. In fact, you seem misguided about the entire purpose of Wikipedia. Neutrality Issue[edit]

Just removed this chunk of text:

Why does mark May hate Ohio State football ??????????????????????????[edit]

I have never seen any spokeman on TV speak so ugly of one college as Mark does to Ohio State Football team.Alot of the big colleges started out as every year against ateam that it's not really there standards. The only colleges started out strong this year was LSU v Oregon. But out of all those other colleges Mark BASHED Ohio Sate. WHY ??????????? Why is he such a HATER? Yes I am a Buckeye. Because Woody Hayes refused to recruit him. When doing back ground checks in his past they found some red flags. Woody decided not to take a chance on him . May has hated OSU from that day forward.
