The citation provided for this is [1]. [2] is also linked to, however, neither link says exactly how much has been invested into Automattic. Is there supposed to be a way to infer this from sec.gov? TerraFrost 17:37, 12 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Remove fake "honorific" CBBQTT[edit]

Connected contributor wrote most of this page[edit]

RTN56U (talk · contribs), which is responsible for much of the content of this page, is a single-purpose account that only ever edited this page in 2012. This is suggestive that the account owner may have had a personal connection to the topic, such as being an Automattic employee or perhaps even being the article subject himself. RTN56U was a model of ASUS router from 2011, but it could also just have been a keysmash. Apocheir (talk) 22:40, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A good chunk of the article was a laundry list of awards and speaking engagements. I removed those, and I adjusted the tone of other parts of the article. Possible "Controversies" section[edit]

Mullenweg is currently the subject of a scandal surrounding the website Tumblr.com and discriminatory moderation policies. Tumblr has previously received a lawsuit in the US for discriminatory moderation policies, so this may be more appropriate for Tumblr's own Wikipedia page instead? 2601:19B:D81:E50:90DF:94D1:B8A:4739 (talk) 16:09, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I respectfully disagree. I think that people often use Wikipedia to get a measure of a prominent individual and their behaviour. That should include any controversies, particularly those instigated by that individual. Thecolonpagesaretoocomplicated (talk) 19:40, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
