Closure date to passengers[edit]

I have checked the closure date as follows- Passengers- "Passengers No more" by G.Daniels and L.Dench quotes 13th July 1925 and "Southern Region Record" by R.H.Clark quotes 12th July 1925. Can any reader please check or confirm.[[Steamybrian2 (talk) 13:15, 10 December 2009 (UTC)]][reply]

This is probably down to two different conventions for closure dates - "first day of no service", and "last day of service". R.V.J. Butt (1995) shows 13 July 1925; in that book the convention is normally "first day of no service". --Redrose64 (talk) 18:43, 8 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
