Notability[edit]

Mizuko Ito was an early researcher (during the beginning of the 90's) into MUD's and their culture, authoring at least five papers on MUDs and presenting some of those papers at conferences. Adding a list of her papers below the bibliography might help establish her notability with regard to the study of virtual environments, online communities, and the MUDs. Certainly, her papers, having survived the years, while so many bulletin boards, e-zine archives, and free homepage hosts have disappeared into the digital void, comprise some of the few surviving documents on MUDding from that era (pre-mass archival by Google, etc.) --Aelmon (talk) 18:30, 19 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
