Merger suggestion[edit]

(There was a proposal tag on the article page suggesting this be merged to University of Texas at Austin. --Doncram (talk) 20:43, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't feel it should be merged. While the details are not yet all filled out just yet, it should be a separate page much like Frank Erwin Center. (unsigned note by User:Dachad01)
  • Strongly oppose merger – A future arena of an NCAA Division I basketball program is inherently notable, and as the unsigned comment above notes, more details will be available as construction proceeds. Matter of fact, UT has officially announced Matthew McConaughey as "Minister of Culture" for the new arena. — Dale Arnett (talk) 16:13, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Let me hereby close this discussion with outcome: not merged. Not sure if other formal steps are required, but I'm removing the merger proposal tag that was slapped onto the article by User:Cassiopeia back in December 2019. No one made any statement supporting merger; there is only opposition. (And, further, I note that the scale of this arena will put it, probably, into top 50 college indoor arenas tracked in a section List of indoor arenas in the United States, all of which have articles I think, and this arena is already mentioned there as a future arena. I arrived here by that link. And, further, the material is already too detailed to be properly included into the webpage of a major university.) --Doncram (talk) 20:39, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Major updates needed?[edit]

I see that Needtobreathe is playing a concert here October 21, 2021. So it is open and the page should be overhauled - correct? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rossidor (talkcontribs) 07:08, 10 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
