POV[edit]

Article has heavy POV issues. All of the sources are from .az domain. Lida Vorig (talk) 07:06, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is this domain prohibited in Wikipedia? A new rule? It is funny. Quantum666 (talk) 07:06, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For starters, can you find independent sources that confirm that he alone was responsible for killing all five soldiers? The wording used by the Azeri sources are very biased and unbalanced. Lida Vorig (talk) 18:50, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Correct attribution of sources solves the problem, doesn't it? Hope you know what it means...--Quantum666 (talk) 19:53, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Lida, Azerbaijani references are allowed as long it is not someblog or something like that, whether you like it or not.--NovaSkola (talk) 02:15, 26 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New section[edit]

"Section should not be blanked, even though Mardakert skirmishes will be there"

This is an amusing explanation given by Novaskola who apparently does not understand that his explanation does not make any sense whatsoever. After providing a short section on the circumstances of Ibrahimov's death, he has removed it and claimed that I am engaged in section blanking - when this is what he has done twice now. Not only did he delete this section, where the sources say that Ibrahimov was part of an Azerbaijani reconaissance or sabotage unit that breached the cease-fire line, but he seems to be deliberately suppressing important, verifiable information. By leaving this part out of the article, the reader is obviously going to wonder how Ibrahimov's body ended up on the Armenian lines. He even reverted the article to include the hysterically absurd notion that Ibrahimov killed 200 (!) Armenian soldiers, indicating that he is simply picking and choosing what to keep. Novaskola appears to be motivated to suppress the fact that Azerbaijan initiated the action, and omitting these important details is unacceptable. His explanation in the summary box is wholly inadequate and nonsensical, which is why I reverted it.--Marshal Bagramyan (talk) 01:19, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, this does not answer to your absurd move - section blanking about Mubariz's death without constructive reason, while putting link to Mardakert Skirmish, to hide information about his death. It is also very funny that you have been many times banned and warned by admins for such actions.--NovaSkola (talk) 01:21, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

45 deaths[edit]

RFE, EurasiaNet both say four people died during the firefight. Adding 45 people dead is greatly exaggerated.Nocturnal781 (talk) 04:12, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ridiculous claim[edit]

He did not kill 45 Armenians, he killed 4. " Azerbaijani Armed Forces ensign Ibrahimov Mubariz showed heroism in an armed incident at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani troops June 18, killing four and wounding four Armenian servicemen. The Armenian side earlier refused to return the Azerbaijani soldier's dead body." https://en.trend.az/azerbaijan/karabakh/1778289.html Ninetoyadome (talk) 00:36, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It seems hilarious that no azeris are able to back up the ridiculous claim of 45 dead Armenian soldiers and just attack Armenian users. Even president aliyev does not accept that ridiculous claim. Luckily mods will not allow nationalistic posts from azeris living in a bubble to post this BS propaganda. [1] Ninetoyadome (talk) 20:49, 15 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Of course they (the mods) will allow it. Sorting out truth from lies, acceptable sources from propaganda, is well over the heads, over the agendas, and over the pay grades of most mods. Since the 45 has now gone up to 135, I propose taking it up to a round 1000. Or why not 2000? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.26.121.87 (talk) 16:27, 23 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Movie[edit]

A cinematic movie about the heroism of Ibrahimov is set to hit theaters in 2018 [1]
