I really know nothing about this sect, or even the Ophites in general. But the statement "(from the Hebrew word na'asch meaning snake)" strikes me as wrong, as the Hebrew word for snake is nachash, not na'asch Ojh2 07:30, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
