Language[edit]

Some of the language used on this page doesn't strike me as neutral...calling the TRNC "legally invalid," for example. Technomad 01:48, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Also, we have this: “ Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies. ” When did these naturalized TRNC citizens settle in TRNC, just after the invasion? If not, I don't think this applies. deniz 00:04, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yet, it is blockquoted !!! For the love of blockquotes, please don't abuse them :) 00:16, 13 August 2007 (UTC

Why don't Nothern Turkish Republıc cıtızen don't change this artıcle???

The use of the upper-case 'N' in 'Northern' Cyprus elevetes this title to a noun. As the area is agreed internationally to be illegally occupied by Turkey, and is recognised as part of the Republic of Cyprus by the rest of the world (with the singular exception of the invaders) I would suggest it more neutral to use the adjective 'northern' Cyprus, 'Northern Cyprus' is a recognition of an illegal state. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kwacka (talkcontribs) 14:11, 20 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article is so non neutral it is not funny. It really is Greek propaganda. It gives the impression that the Turks are trying to illegally populate their own country! This article is provoking and biased!

Cypriot citizenship[edit]

Legally, those who are native to northern Cyprus are entitled to Cypriot citizenship under the Cypriot nationality law. As Cyprus is a Commonwealth country, native Turkish Cypriots are also Commonwealth citizens as well. - (203.211.72.85 (talk) 04:23, 18 July 2013 (UTC))[reply]
