Notable Athletes[edit]

I think that this section should be limited to those who are actually notable (i.e., meeting the requirements of WP:BIO) not just those who are notable in the context of the school--or at least limit it to those for whom sources are citable. It is the best way to make sure that all information in the article meets WP:V. What thoughts do other editors have on this? janejellyroll 03:03, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox[edit]

On the infobox, originally, it said that Northern Highlands Regional High School was established in 1957. However, there is a sign that said that it was built in 1965. I don't know which one is more correct, I changed it to 1965 because it is more likely to be correct. I am a student in Northern Highlands and the infobox also said that Robert McGuire was the principal. However, Robert McGuire is the superintendent and John Keenan is the principal. Coach Simonetti[edit]

Northern Highlands is best known for its Football program. For 19 years, Head Coach Steve Simonetti coached the Highlanders, leading the team to State Championships in 1988, and 1999 through 2001. By the time Simonetti retired in early 2007, 46 of his football players had gone to play in the NCAA. The italic text are the text I got from the article. Is it really true that Head Coach Simonetti retired in early 2007? I don't really know if it's true, because I see him a lot at school (since I attend Northern Highlands Regional High School) and he is still working as a head coach or supervisor. Follow up- Simonetti remains to be employed by NHRHS, but is not the head coach

Merge of The Highland Fling[edit]

The proposal has been made to merge the contents of The Highland Fling into this article:

  • Support - There is no evidence of independent notability for the student newspaper. This content belongs in the school article with some trimming and additional sources. Alansohn (talk) 02:05, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong support - As per Alansohn, content should be in the school article as a section. Citations also needed, remove unnecessary non-notable contents. NHRHS2010 |  Talk to me  20:20, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changes to administration[edit]

I am a student at Northern Highlands Regional High School. I made an edit with my IP address on the section on Administration, as Principal Mr. Keenan is now the superintendent and Vice Principal Mr. Occhino is now the principal. I have no idea who is the new vice principal, but if you find out who becomes the new vice principal, feel free to add him/her. NHRHS2010 |  Talk to me  17:45, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
