This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (The Osage Nation Museum is a nonprofit building of historical value. This page intends to inform the public about the Osage Nation Museum, of the museum's whereabouts and what it provides to the Osage people, community and general public) --Rantavia (talk) 20:52, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that it was not written in an 'encyclopedic' style - or in line with Wikipedia's own special conventions. I have made some small changes which I think resolve the problematic issues, but it's possible that another editor may now tag it as "not notable", unless more work is done to bring it up to standard. I would suggest looking at some of the other entries under "Category:Ethnic museums in the United States" to get a feel for the standard expected, and how to format etc. All the best! This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (This page is strictly intended to inform. There is not a website or resource that clearly explains the Osage Nation Museum entity in a proper context. I am basing the outline of this wiki page on that of other museums on here such as the Smithsonian. It is necessary to have a resource such as this for newer generations, as well as to document information/facts and other pertinent data about the museum. I'm not sure why you are tagging this as promotional as there is no monetary incentive with this project) --Rantavia (talk) 21:36, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the Smithsonian Institution entry doesn't have wording such as is the premiere destination... (from your original text). Stick to being informative and encyclopedic and you'll be fine. Snori (talk) 21:56, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
