Significant Edit[edit]

I changed the description of OC as a writer. While there is a significant body of work attributed to him, most of that was released after his death from transcripts of his teaching recorded by his wife. So I changed it to indicate that he was a teacher and minister.

Added a few details of his marriage and the birth of his only child.

Expanded on the Bible Training College and his assignment to Egypt with the YMCA.

Added more details on his death.

Added details about the source of the body of work he is attributed as writing.

Added external links to the Oswald Chambers Publication Association and an online version of My Utmost for His Highest.

Added a reference section with a reference to an excellent biography by David McCasland.

Chambers as a Christian Missionary[edit]

Shouldn't Oswald Chambers be listed on the page that lists the Scottish Christian Missionaries. He was certainly born in Scotland and did Christian service oversees. He started a missionary training school. Would someone consider making this addition? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.200.23.139 (talk) 23:08, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
