Proposal For Article Revamp[edit]

Hi! I don't know who's going to see this.

I think the article for PUC needs a major overhaul/update: most of the information, the body text, the photos - they're all from over a decade ago! Sources are a bit outdated and flawed too. The article hasn't been updated properly or regularly enough to reflect how PUC stands now (early 2020s, when I'm writing this). It's been bothering me a bit.

The bulk of the article as it stands now seems to have been sourced and written by a handful of contributors, among them Gogh, Kenatipo, and Wercvbnmghkjb, around the late 2000s and early 2010s. Some of their writing is sloppy and their sources are wanting; the tone of the article is also intensely advertistic (is the way I can best describe it) - it reads far more like a college brochure or website blurb than an encyclopedic entry. It's inappropriate and annoying. Also the photos are terrible.

If you'd like to help me in my little project, feel free to reply to this post with an email or social media or whatever, and I'll shoot you a message. If not - or if nobody sees this, save perhaps for web crawlers or the random wanderer far in the future (hello! hope you're doing okay) - then feel free to ignore. I'll do my best to fix things as I see fit :) SanKanshi 🧭 07:39, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It doesn't help that Wikipedia:WikiProject Seventh-day Adventist Church is an inactive project. Catfurball (talk) 19:23, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It does not, but I'm trying my best! 😭 SanKanshi 🧭 19:33, 12 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
