Independent sources, notability[edit]

I looked for sources for the newly stubbed article but I'm hesitating to add any of the ones I'm finding because they're all from manufacturers. Our sources of general information should come from independent sources. It's bizarre that the manufacturers all know what a panel PC is but general trade publications don't appear to provide any defining information about them or find them worthy of discussion. One might say that this raises a question about notability, but I'm having trouble believing that these aren't notable. Largoplazo (talk) 12:54, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Embedded Computing Design did run an article (online version here: https://www.embedded-computing.com/embedded-computing-design/industrial-hmi-and-panel-pc-trends), but it is 'guest authored'/Sponcon by one of the manufacturer's marketing departments. This might be a problem of article naming, I think that 'Embedded touch screen computer' is a more common term that means more or less the same thing. - MrOllie (talk) 13:00, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Unexplained reversion[edit]

@Billinghurst: User:MrOllie and I explained all our edits. Then you reverted all of them without explanation. Why? Largoplazo (talk) 13:02, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
