Clean up of article[edit]

I've tried to remove the weasel words and add some references. I am not sure I have the reference format correct, in fact since they are slightly different from each other I am sure they should be corrected. Saratansey (talk) 08:00, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Still Problematic[edit]

This BLP continues to have major concerns that must be addressed, specifically:

  • Lots of statements are entirely unsourced and will have to be removed if sources cannot be found, for example the alternative parenting situation that is asserted. In fact, most of the "sources" are web flotsam and not WP:RS at all
  • Notability is still an issue – most of the "sources" do not go toward it at all, e.g. his unfinished, unpublished pamphlet and the videos that spotlight the Twin Oaks Community (in which Calta appears briefly, along with many other folks). The Fox news article does discuss him briefly in light of an arrest, but without other sources, this isn't much more than WP:1E.

I've re-tagged the page in this regard. I'm hoping this will stir some activity by others towards resolving these issues, because I haven't come up with much more than what is here. Respectfully, Agricola44 (talk) 19:48, 11 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]

  • I added three more recent media references for Calta. Calta is a spokesperson for a new anti-nuclear group which is getting press attention. There are more i could add. Saratansey (talk) 05:43, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Gobonobo removed tags without explanation and without addressing the issues above (although the parenting situation was later resolved by another ed). However, they are still unresolved, for example almost all the details in the biography section are unsourced (WP:BLP vio) and notability is far from apparent. I've now replaced these tags. Please do not removed them without first addressing these issues. Thanks, Agricola44 (talk) 15:02, 19 October 2010 (UTC).[reply]
  • Johnny Squeaky removed the notability tag without resolution of these problems, but rather under the mistaken assumption of some sort of statute of limitations. It is starting to look like no resolution will be forthcoming, so perhaps it is getting close to letting the community decide via AfD. Comments? Thanks, Agricola44 (talk) 15:36, 6 September 2011 (UTC).[reply]

This article is written by its subject[edit]

It seems problematic that Paxus Calta himself has aparently created and edited this article - seems like a conflict of interest and goes against wikipedia recommendations. Wonder if it's worth starting from scratch here and just get the information available in secondary sources. 82.26.250.60 (talk) 17:48, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Users Saratansey also appears to be associated with Paxuscalta as they have similar background in the anti-nuclear movement. Additionally, on further inspection of the article, some of the more recent edits have a promotional tone. 82.26.250.60 (talk) 17:57, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
