Play-out groove[edit]

I put a hatnote in the article linking to gramophone record. Maybe it's not necessary, but I came across this article while looking for something completely different, and "play-out groove" was the first thing I thought of when I saw the title. And it's not completely unrelated, as both playout broadcasts and phonographic discs involve audio, often as music. B7T (talk) 20:39, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

General Purpose Interface[edit]

General Purpose Interface is, at the moment, a redirect to IEEE-488, and this is not the intended target. For now, I've replaced it with the deliberate redlink General Purpose Interface (broadcasting). I've opened a discussion at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2015 November 8#General Purpose Interface to get consensus on what to do with it: it's listed at the disambiguation page at GPI in the sense intended here, but we seem to have no other information on it.
