There aren't any sources of information in this artice. Some of the facts here can be easily obtained and sourced, but some are not easy to reference, like the quotes sprinkled throughout the article. I'm strongly inclined to delete them all, but I'd prefer whoever put them in to reference them. This article, by its very nature, can easily lead to bias on one side or the other without stong editorship, so the way to maintain a neutral POV is to reference everything. Important notice[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of Bermuda" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Independence movement vs. Movement for the Status Quo -- New Section needed?[edit]

The article at present is interspersed with mentions of the independence movement, as well as the movement supporting the status quo, but because of the article format I can't really follow the arguments and level of support of each side. A new section in the article, specifically discussing the role of the independence movement and the movement for the status quo would be a boon to this article, and would greatly improve it.

I recognize that such a section would be a magnet for bias, but I believe that it's a necessary addition and so justifies the risk. Plus (again, regardless of personal beliefs), Bermuda remains on the United Nations List of Non Self-Governing Territories, an article which links directly to this one; such a section is quite important to clarify the current status of Bermuda.

Unfortunately, Bermuda is far from my area of expertise, thus I'm not sure I'm qualified to expand this topic. Could someone with a better understanding of the island's politics please create this section? Cheers, Zaldax (talk) 13:53, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
