PAPA doesn't offer fencing anymore.--Sir Joe Cool (talk) 20:56, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Papapandapaw[edit]

I think that the link to the Papapandapaw website should be kept on this page, as it holds alot of info about the current going ons of the school, and because it's a place where many of The students and staff of PAPA go and communicate. Shadowsdrift (talk) 19:43, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, the Papapandapaw blog is incredibly biased, and full of factual errors. If I were a parent looking for a place to send my kids, I would not send them there based on the information on that blog. Since I am very familiar with the school, indeed I am a faculty member, I can speak with authority that the blog is used to undermine teachers' credibility in the classroom and with parents, to harass a perfectly good principal out of a job, and to present very selectively edited comments and contents. A recent hacker to the blog confirmed that there are only 5 IP addresses who are allowed to comment on the site; the rest have to be "moderated". The site is largely dedicated to 1) bringing back a barely competent teacher and 2) getting the recent past principal to resign by dogging her heels. So, because the site is not in keeping with the goals of the Wikischools, is detrimental to the future of the school, and is inaccurate at best and slanderous at worst, I am going to keep deleting it. By the way, nice sanitizing of the site. I can't wait to give the current principal evidence of the bloggers' harassment, since I printed out each day's postings. Look _________, while you may have a problem with this website, many others find it to be a useful informative site. Without this website, almost none of the current students would even know many of the important issues currently facing our school. We would never have known that there was even a shift in our administrations leadership until school started again this upcoming year. And while it may have been severely negative in the past, no doubt due in part to your alternate identities i.e. elphaba, In recent months it has taken a much more even tone. And as such, I, and others, will continue to revert your changes back to the proper way they should be... With Papapandapaw on the page. Shadowsdrift (talk) 19:43, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First off, you are in violation of the discussion page policy of revealing personal information, and secondly, you are in violation of the 3RR rule. Please desist with the reverting, Shadowsdrift, or I will request arbitration. Your personal ax to grind also has no place on Wikipedia. I am giving you these links to read, particularly the one on dispute resolution. 68.54.2.198 (talk) 20:20, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies_______, you're right in that I should not have addressed you by your proper name. Though you are incorrect as to me violating the 3RR rule, as I've only reverted your changes once today (about to be twice). In fact it seems like you are the only one who is violating that rule currently. Shadowsdrift (talk) 21:02, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The contents of the blog should be left for other people to find on their own. Just because you're using someone else's computer at a university doesn't mean that you haven't made the reversions. Now we're in a full on editing war, and I have decided to contact the editors of wikipedia for help. The reason that the blog shouldn't be on the wikipedia page is because it contains incorrect information. For example, it states that a teacher resigned at a public meeting, and that is untrue. It also says that someone can sue the school. That also is untrue. he/she would have to sue APS. All of these things mean that the site is not appropriate to the school's wikipedia page. Why not create a wikipedia page in praise of the creator of the blog instead? 68.54.2.198 (talk) 22:23, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because I am the only person who would possibly wish revert these changes? I agree that some moderation would be appropriate. While a few of the details might be a bit off, there is so much more information on the site that is valuable for us students and concerned citizens to know. And while you may have a personal vendetta against it due to some perceived offensive remarks against your character, that doesn't give you reason to Block the site from the view of everyone else. Let it go. And stop trying to paint me as a papapandapaw worshiper or something, back off hombre. Shadowsdrift (talk) 22:48, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shadowsdrift, I suggest you read WP:EL. You will see that blogs are only allowed to be linked when they are the official documents of the article subject. Since the blog in question is not an official school blog, it is not permissible here as an external link. Aleta Sing 23:04, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Aye aye ma'am. Shadowsdrift (talk) 14:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's OK Shadowsdrift, some people don't like dissent. It makes them feel uncomfortable. And if you feel uncomfortable with a dissenting voice then you should silence it. Why doesn't Seth have an internal link, he has a page...--Sir Joe Cool (talk) 04:54, 23 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
