Merger proposal[edit]

Formal request has been received to merge: Qantas fleet history into Qantas fleet; dated: 28 July 2020. Proposer's Rationale: The Qantas fleet article is short and only details the current aircraft used, and the Qantas fleet history article only details aircraft that were historically used. Fleet section[edit]

The A220 is not a Qantas Mainline order - it will be operated under the QantasLink brand by National Jet Services. Therefore it shouldn't be in this fleet section at all. 203.12.12.228 (talk) 08:21, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A350-1000ULR issue[edit]

I'm not sure why the "A350-1000ULR" type keeps getting mentioned in the fleet. Airbus has NOT announced that name for Qantas' Project Sunrise programme. They only referred to it as "A350-1000" but with special modifications. RPC7778 (talk) 16:44, 31 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, per this source: [1], that's just Qantas's way of differentiating between their Sunrise and standard A350s. Still, Airbus has NOT officially launched the ULR version of the A350-1000, and is only an A350-1000 with special modifications for Qantas. Heck, there isn't even an "LR" version of the A350-1000.
