Basic USB wattage standard typo?[edit]

> at power levels exceeding the 5 volts at 2 amps, thus 10 watts allowed by basic USB standards

Battery Charging (BC) 1.2 was the standard way back then and it only supported up to 1.5A (7.5w) and PD was specifically stated to not be considered https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_hardware#USB_power_standards

side note, the origin of the 5 volts at 2 amps (used by numerous charger and powerbank) is unclear too, is it just an unofficial standard from copying Samsung and Apple or is it just USB PD Rev 1 or is there another standard? 175.156.208.46 (talk) 03:33, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

QC3 max 36 W?[edit]

it says QC3 maxes out at 36W, my Galaxy Tab S7+ charges at 45W using QC3, is this a typo? Esteban Outeiral Dias (talk) 17:04, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
