numerous issues[edit]

This article has a number of issues.

Much of it is written from an anti-Catholic POV. "Reformers" are noted as outstanding. This is just as bad as saying the "Heretics" were notorious. Northern and Eastern Europe are called "tolerant" when this really means that each state or prince could chose its own particular brand of intolerance.

References provide neither quotes nor page numbers. Positions of single and not very notable scholars are reported as if they are consensus or objective fact. And the sources are limited to online publications of dubious provenance. We need specific quotes attributed to notable scholars in actual published books with the page number provided.
