The Homacaust

I just graduated from there in 2006. Now, what I'm saying has no bearing on anything in the article, but since the arrival of strict Principal, Dwayne Homa, students, upon graduating (I know, cause we did it, the kids before us did it, and the kids who just graduated did it), refer to themselves as survivors of the "Homacaust". We linked that to a tragic period in world history, due to the loss of most freedoms we had once been granted.

It was something. Anyway, this really has no real bearing on the article, but as a graduate, I thought some of you would like an insider's opinion. User:Lawrence142002

The 'Homacaust' Continued

I too just graduated, 2007. I can confirm the existance of The Homacaust expression. In fact, as a sophomore, I even mass printed superimposed images of Mr. Homa on Hitler's body, then had them distributed in the halls after a pep rally. The Homacaust was moreless a gimmick started by an unknown source and popularized by many, but holds little to no consequence in the school. SuperXero07 04:41, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page corrections I would like to comment on the suggestion of this article being merged with the Washington County locality article. I feel that with the inclusion of more information and a routine update for currency, this page need not be moved or merged. I would like to involve a staff member or principal in the upkeep of this page. Any suggestions would be great! SuperXero07 04:41, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It should also be noted, that of the four famous alumni listed, only Joe Montana actually went to Ringgold High School. The others graduated long before the highschool was built.

Homacaust continued

I always take alot of credit along with a couple others for starting that name for the reign of Homa. If you remember me, my name is Lawrence Watson. I dunno if we went at the same time, but I always assume some partial credit, because I recall using the term, and hearing it balloon through the school a short time later.
